Challenge
This exterior wood stairs renovation project included full replacement of damaged stair wood, structural beam repairs, installation of new redwood materials, and professional staining for long-term durability and appearance.
The existing exterior staircase had severe wood deterioration and rotted structural components caused by weather exposure and aging materials. Several beams and wood sections were no longer structurally reliable and required full replacement.

Solution
We demolished the damaged stair components and replaced the deteriorated framing and rotted beams with new structural wood. New redwood materials were installed throughout the staircase, followed by sanding, preparation, and staining to create a stronger and more visually finished exterior stair system.
